Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

This cookie recipe idea I got from Pinterest. When I searched for the recipe on web, found many recipes on the same. An awesome idea to stuff kids favorite Oreo cookie inside kid's another favorite chocolate chip cookies. Totally flattered by the idea, I was itching to try out the cookie. At first I thought the process would be little tricky, but when I really gone through the recipe, it was like icing on the cake. I am assuring you, it's very easy to make and you can bring lots of happiness on your kid's face once you serve them this awesome cookies.

You Need : {makes 12-13 cookies}
Oreo cookie : one per cookie
All-purpose flour : 1 and 1/2 cup
Brown Sugar : 1/2 cup, powdered
White Sugar : 1/2 cup, powdered
Butter : 75 gm., in room temperature
Eggs : 2, in room temperature
Salt :  a pinch
Baking Soda : 1 tsp.
Vanilla Essence : 1 tsp.
Chocolate Chip : 1/2 cup

How To :
  • Take flour in a bowl with salt and baking soda. Give it a good mix, then add chocolate chips into the flour and mix again. Keep aside.
  • Now in a mixing bowl, take butter and both the sugar and beat with an electric beater until it gets creamy. Add one egg at a time and beat to mix. Add vanilla and mix again.
  • Now slowly add the flour mixture into the butter-sugar mixture. Do not over beat, just beat till you have a soft pliable dough.
  • Now, we have to stuff an oreo cookie inside this cookie dough. For that, take an oreo on your palm, take 1 medium scoop of cookie dough and place on top side of the Oreo cookie. Flatten the dough a bit and flip to the other side. Now place another scoop of cookie dough on the top side of Oreo cookie. Press a little with your other hand and form a round cookie, covering the oreo cookie very well from all the sides. Continue with rest of the cookie dough and form oreo stuffed cookies. Try to make them a flat as you can to get crispier cookie. [Follow the pic.collage for better understanding]
  • Preheat your oven to 180 degree C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper or just grease your baking tray with little butter. Place prepared cookies on the baking tray leaving little space between them.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes. Let it cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and let them cool. As they cool, they get crispier.

Enjoy with a cup of warm milk or as it is................heavenly delicious. Yumm Yumm.
